You can add countries/regions and cities to the City and Regional Manager. In all addresses forms, such as checkout billing address step, checkout mailing address step and customer adress, regions, zip codes and cities will be listed in dropdowns. So customers can choose state, zip, or city from the dropdown.

Installation Steps

1 . Upload the file manually. Extract it and then extract “Custom_City-7.0.0.tgz” and then copy all files app folder and then paste into your magento root directory.

  1. You can also access the admin panel. Go to admin panel “System -> Configuration -> Magento Connect -> Magento Connect Manager” and unchecked “Put store on the maintenance mode while installing/upgrading/backup creation” option and browse file and upload it.
  2. Clear Cache
  3. Now follow provide documentation or goto admin panel and you will see new link “Region Manager”.

Navigate to the country you wish to manage
Manage cities related to country & state
Zip codes for country, state or city can be managed.
You can add states/regions to countries that aren’t in the list, and you can edit an existing one.
Dropdown menu for checkout billing address, checkout shipping address and customer address.
In the checkout billing address step, check shipping address step, and customer address section dropdowns, select zip codes.
“City not in List” link feature, if customer can’t find desired city in cities dropdown then he can add city in text field by clicking on this button dropdown will be converted into text field.
“Zip not in List” link feature, if customer can’t find desired zip code in zip codes dropdown list then he can add zip code in text field by clicking on this button dropdown will be converted into text field.
Admin can enable/disable “Not in list” link anytime.
The import feature allows you to import states, cities, and zip codes. Administrators can now import these items using the provided CSV format.

Magento2 Installation Options
Installation of magento extensions can be done in two different ways

  1. Magento 2 extension by COMMANDLINE (Recommended).

Step 1. Download/purchase an extension
Step 2: Unzip the file(custom_city-4.0.0.zip) in a temporary directory from Magento2 folder
Step 3: Copy it into your Magento root directory
Step 4: Disable the cache under System­ >> Cache Management
Step 5: At the command prompt, enter the following:
php bin/magento setup:upgrade
Step 6: After opening Stores­ >>Configuration >­>Advanced >­> Advanced, the module will be shown in the admin panel
