This plugin will not replace media uploader. This plugin should not be used to migrate sites. This plugin does not allow you to upload media files from the past.
CMS’s core function is to allow users to upload content and modify it. While WordPress excels in this area, many web hosts have smaller servers, or they simply don’t permit large file uploads via web browsers.
This is why Add from Server was created.
FTP can be used to upload multiple files.
